How to find us

Loburn is a small farming settlement 10 minutes from Rangiora, a thriving local township. Loburn has orchards, and a craft cheese factory, which you can visit. There is a public tennis court 5 minutes away. Rangiora has a stunning golf course, with low green fees.

We are 20 minutes from Pegasus Bay, with its wide sandy beaches, where you can walk for miles and see only one or two people, and maybe some players on polo ponies practising for a summer game. Here children can make wigwams out of driftwood, play on clean sand, and paddle in the lapping waves. Lifeguards are on hand at weekends and holiday times for people who want to swim way out in the surf.

It takes 45 minutes to drive to Christchurch Airport, or Christchurch City. Christchurch has many attractions. Right in the centre is the 200 acre Hagley Park, with renowned botanic gardens, a historic legacy appreciated by locals and visitors alike. It is situated on the River Avon, a quiet shallow stream where ducklings bob along between the rowing boats and punts available for hire . Nearby is the Arts Centre, an area of cafes, craft shops and studios. At weekends there is an open-air craft market with street entertainers, popular with all the family.

Other attractions include the Antarctic Centre, an interactive tribute to that unique continent, and Ferrymead, where you can see what life used to be like in the days of the Early Settlers.
